Under the proud ownership of Van Riebeeckstrand Primary School and expertly managed by Mrs. Ninia de Vogel, our tuckshop is more than just a place to grab a snack — it’s a vibrant hub for learners, parents, staff, and visitors.

From Grade 1 to Grade 7, learners enjoy the opportunity to make smart choices in a relaxed, positive, and well-supervised environment.

A Special Experience for the Little Ones
Grades 1 to 3 can enjoy a fun and stress-free tuckshop experience by shopping at their own pace through a dedicated serving hatch — or take advantage of the convenience of having their orders delivered directly to their classrooms.

Fresh, Nutritious & Affordable

• We offer nutritious, freshly-prepared meals daily.

• Menus change weekly and are shared on our Facebook page.
• Our talented team — Fazlin, Helen, and Jessica — prepare meals with care in our fully equipped kitchen.

Parents & Volunteers — You’re Amazing!

• We are grateful for the support of our parent volunteers who assist during break times.
• The PTA plays a huge role during major sporting events — especially when we serve up thousands of pancakes!

A Place to Connect

Many parents love stopping by the tuckshop in the afternoons. Enjoy a coffee under the umbrellas while your child finishes their homework at the outdoor benches.

Tuckshop Operating Hours

• Monday to Thursday:
  1st and 2nd break | After school until 15:00
• Friday:
  1st and 2nd break | After school until 13:30
• Saturday (Sports Days):
  Open during school-hosted sporting events
